Rodents are mammals characterized by upper and lower pairs of ever-growing rootless incisor teeth. Rodents are the largest group of mammals, constituting almost half of the class Mammalia’s approximately 4,660 species. Rats and rodents can pose a significant risk to your health. They not only carry diseases themselves, but can also play host to parasitic insects that transmit disease. Rodents chew on a variety of items available to them and cause great damage in and around premises. They are destructive pests and serious safety hazards.

Mice have been linked to asthma. But how do rodents get into your home? anyway they can. Besides squeezing through small holes, crevices and cracks in your home's foundation, rodents can enter your home through vents, your air conditioner's line set cover and through drainpipes.  As disconcerting as it is, rats can even enter your home through your plumbing by swimming up your toilet. Rodents are excellent swimmers.
