Types of cockroaches :

American Cockroaches ( Periplaneta americana)

The American cockroach is the largest cockroach. colour Reddish-brown the female American cockroach carries the ootheca for a few hours to a few days and deposits the egg case in a safe, hidden location. The American cockroach ootheca contains approximately 15 embryos and remains in place through the use of the female's saliva. can hatch up to 150 offspring per year. The life span of the American cockroach ranges from one to 1.5 years. American cockroaches prefer to live in warm, dark, wet areas, like sewers and basements. They often enter structures through drains and pipes.

German Cockroaches (Blattella germanica)

‌German cockroaches can be found all over the world. Each German cockroach can live about 100-200 days. The female German cockroach carries the ootheca until the eggs inside it are ready to hatch.The average gestation period for a German cockroach is 28 days.One ootheca can contain  up to 50 eggs on average that develop so quickly, their population grows very rapidly.German cockroaches live in warm and damp places, like kitchens, bathrooms, and places where people eat and drink.

Brown-banded Cockroaches (Supella longipalpa)

Brown banded cockroaches get their name from the two light bands they have across their dark brownish bodies. Brown-banded cockroaches carry about 16 eggs per ootheca. The female cockroach will keep the ootheca with her for about a day or two and then adhere the egg case to a piece of furniture, wall, cardboard or another rough surface.
